The type of personal information we collect

We currently collect and process the following information:

How we get the personal information and why we have it

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

• Entered by you into our contact form so that we can contact you back
• When you subscribe to our insight mailing list

We also receive personal information indirectly, from the following sources in the following scenarios:

Via Google Analytics, we receive information about website traffic, this includes:

• How many people visit the site
• How they got here
• What pages they look at and for how long
• What devices and browser they are using
• What country they are in

Google makes this information anonymous, so we can’t tell who the individuals are, neither can we retrieve your name or email address from this.

We use the information that you have given us in order to contact you when you have submitted a contact form, or to setup your subscription to our insights mailing list.

We do not share this information with any third parties.

Under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:

• Your consent. You are able to remove your consent at any time. You can do this by contacting IKB.Compliance@Ipsos.com
• We have a legal obligation
• We have a contractual obligation
• We have a legitimate interest

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored.

We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Different laws require us to keep different data for different periods of time and we will process your personal data and sensitive personal data in line with the relevant legal requirement.

In some circumstances we may anonymise your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you, in which case we may use such information without further notice to you.

Your data protection rights

Under data protection law, you have rights including:

• Your right of access - You have the right to ask us for copies of your personal information.
• Your right to rectification - You have the right to ask us to rectify personal information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.
• Your right to erasure - You have the right to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to restriction of processing - You have the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to object to processing - You have the the right to object to the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances.
• Your right to data portability - You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organisation, or to you, in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.

If you want to review, verify, correct or request erasure of your personal information, object to the processing of your personal data, or request that we transfer a copy of your personal information to another party, please contact the Data Controller at IKB.Compliance@Ipsos.com

If you subscribe to our insight mailing list, there is an unsubscribe link in the emails you receive. Alternatively email IpsosKarianandBox@ipsos.com and we can remove you manually.

You can opt out of Google Analytics with a browser add-on from Google.
