VIDEO: Ipsos KEYS: The Year Ahead. Resilience required

Posted: 10-02-2025

Ipsos KEYS webinars bring fresh perspectives grounded in research, helping clients make sense of today while preparing for tomorrow.

The first Ipsos KEYS webinar of 2025 asks the critical question: what do we need to know to tackle the year ahead successfully?

Our MD of Client Operations, Jack Evans, joined an expert panel to explore the evolving workplace landscape and how leaders can guide their teams through ongoing transformation.

In a backdrop of predicted macro trends of rising taxes, higher prices and increased unemployment, Jack shares some key takeaways about what this means for the world of work, what leaders need to keep front of mind and why resilience is needed more than ever.

Jack discusses:

  • The impact of constant change on employee engagement. External change often leads to internal change – 4 in 10 UK businesses restructured last year. But ongoing cycles of change take a toll, so we need to be mindful of how we can best support people through it.

  • Leading teams through uncertainty. Leaders must bridge growing gaps in perspectives between executive teams and employees, especially on hot-button issues like AI adoption and the hybrid/office work debate. Understanding and addressing these divides is essential for building trust.

  • What leaders can do to improve change management. Effective leadership in times of change requires empathy, investing in good change management strategies and role-modelling positive wellbeing practices.
